Short version: SocialSafe stores all your data locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. We don't have servers with your data.

1. Overview

SocialSafe ("we", "our", or "the app") is an iOS application designed for introverts and people with social anxiety. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.

SocialSafe is developed independently and is available on the Apple App Store. By using SocialSafe, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

SocialSafe collects a minimal amount of information, all of which stays on your device:

All personal data is stored using Apple's SwiftData framework and UserDefaults, which keep data on your device. We never have access to this information.

All user-generated content in SocialSafe β€” including your name, battery level history, diary entries, and quest progress β€” is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework.

6. Push Notifications

SocialSafe may send local push notifications to remind you to:

These are local notifications β€” they are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is transmitted to our servers. We do not use remote push notification infrastructure.

SocialSafe requests microphone permission for the Fake Call feature, which allows you to simulate an incoming phone call to exit social situations.

You can revoke microphone access at any time through iPhone Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Microphone β†’ SocialSafe.

8. Third-Party Services

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Facebook SDK, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Sentry, or any other third-party analytics or tracking service.

9. Children's Privacy

SocialSafe is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Because all data is stored locally on the device and no account creation is required, the app does not collect any information from users of any age that leaves the device.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will address your concerns.

10. Your Rights

For users in the European Union (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, and restrict processing of your personal data. Since all data is local, these rights are exercised by managing or deleting the app.

For users in California (CCPA)

California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

For users in Brazil (LGPD)

Brazilian users have rights under the Lei Geral de ProteΓ§Γ£o de Dados. Since all data is stored locally, you exercise these rights by managing your device and app data.
